Wheeler Mission is in the spotlight this month as the recipient of charity dollars from the Cable Tie Express Gives Back! program. Founded in 1893, this non-denominational Christian social services organization has been providing critically needed goods and services to homeless, poor, and needy in central Indiana and is the oldest ministry of this type in the state of Indiana. All goods and services are provided regardless of race, color, creed, national origin or religion in nine locations throughout the state.
A pillar in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas, Wheeler Mission started as a single ministry for women, it has in its 125+ year history become an organization serving thousands of men, women, and children every year.
It is the goal of Wheeler Mission to have its VISION truly become a REALITY each and every day of each and every year. That vision? “To see every man, woman, and child we served equipped to be productive citizens who enjoy lasting success in Christ.”
