Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
It is with great satisfaction that Cable Tie Express has chosen the Leukemia and Lymphona Society as the recipient of its CTE Gives Back! charily dollars for the month of July 2020.
Focusing on blood cancer research, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is the largest nonprofit organization in the world. In addition to providing custom support to individuals suffering from cancer, including assistance in securing opportunities for inclusion in clinical trials, they are the leaders in providing education and support for patients and their families.
The Society was founded in 1949 and since inception, it has provided over $1.3 billion in cancer research. Currently over 250 research grants are being funded throughout the world and it is this organization that has advanced over 52 blood cancer therapies in the past 3 years.
With a network of over 100,000 volunteers throughout the country, the Society also advocates for state and federal policies that prove universally beneficial for cancer patients and ensure access to lifesaving treatments.
