With the combination of cooler fall temps leading to cold winter weather, how fitting for Cable Tie Express to choose Threads for Treads as its October 2020 recipient of the CTE Gives Back! program.
Several years ago, the Mid-States Bolt & Screw team recognized that there was a great need in many of their local communities with children in need of shoes. Children were coming to school with ill-fitting shoes, inappropriate shoes for the weather or shoes that were literally falling apart! So in November of 2014, the company launched its own charity – Threads for Treads! The slogan for this charity was simple and clear - “Helping One School, One Child, with One Pair of Shoes at a Time”
And what amazing results have transpired in its six-year history! Collecting over $48,000 since inception, the charity donates 100% of every dollar raised to this amazing cause with a total of 1900 NEW pairs of shoes and/or boots to children of these communities.
Cable Tie Express salutes Mid-States Bolt & Screw for its positive impact on hundreds of children and is thrilled to be part of the company’s dream in filling this basic need with our donation this month!
